I provide the primary leadership
for retention projects and the technology needs for each program area. I assess the continuing educational needs of health care professionals and provide access
to educational programs that will improve the quality of patient care, increase competencies of providers, and help maintain professional licensure and certification requirements via live and web based conferencing. I am also responsible for facilitating the RN Re-entry Program to include developing and establishing clinical training sites to refresh nursing skills & knowledge base to re-enter the nursing profession. ypayton@threeriversahec.org

Clinical Training Coordinator
I am responsible for the development and coordination of community based clinical training for health professions students and the recruitment of qualified clinical training sites and preceptors, in addition to the arrangement of community integrated learning experiences in the region of Three Rivers AHEC. Other responsibilities include the management of student housing and travel assistance to ensure student success.

of the overall daily functions in accordance with Three Rivers AHEC's mission, vision, and value statements. I am responsible for the administrative functions related to the organization's programs for clinical training, continuing education, distance learning, and health careers awareness.

I am responsible for the development of health careers awareness programs via classroom presentations, academies, and career fairs. These programs give insight to the students on the salaries, educational requirements, job descriptions, and resources regarding the various health occupations. I aim to provide youth and adult learners with information that motivates them to pursue a career in health care.
