Student Travel

Three Rivers AHEC travel assistance is available to students completing community-based clinical rotations away from their main campus; 

only if AHEC housing is not being utilized.

Who is eligible for AHEC Travel Support:

  • Must be from a Georgia program or be a Georgia student returning to the state for rotations

  • Rotation site must be within the Three Rivers AHEC region

  • Travel distance must be 25+ miles from either:

    • Campus location, or

    • Current home address

  • Rotation must be a least 8 sequential days;

    • 8-19 days: $50 stipend 

    • 20+ days: $100 stipend

  • Under AHEC Clinical Training Support Services

    • Please select the AHEC Center you are requesting assistance: Three Rivers

    • Please select the Clinical Training support service: Travel Support

    • Do you know your Clinical Rotation site information? Yes

      • Enter all required information:

2. Complete and Sign AHEC Travel Stipend Policy

3. Email the completed and signed housing request forms to: Jennifer Frazier – jfrazier@threeriversahec.org
