Student Travel
Three Rivers AHEC travel assistance is available to students completing community-based clinical rotations away from their main campus;
only if AHEC housing is not being utilized.
Who is eligible for AHEC Travel Support:

Must be from a Georgia program or be a Georgia student returning to the state for rotations

Rotation site must be within the Three Rivers AHEC region
-
Travel distance must be 25+ miles from either:
-
Campus location, or
-
Current home address
-

Rotation must be a least 8 sequential days;
-
8-19 days: $50 stipend
-
20+ days: $100 stipend
