Meet Our Team

Three Rivers AHEC is comprised of a diverse team committed to delivering a comprehensive range of healthcare education and support services. Our team focuses on addressing the specific needs of rural and underserved populations, ensuring equitable access to essential healthcare resources. Our dedication to education and community engagement effectively bridges gaps in healthcare accessibility, ultimately enhancing health outcomes for all individuals served.

I provide programmatic and administrative leadership, focusing on program development, strategic planning, team management, fiscal oversight, and advocacy for the Center. I also maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare, academic, and public organizations, serving as the administrative officer and liaison for the Board of Directors.

Yvette Payton - Manager of Retention and Technology

I am responsible for the development and coordination of retention programs and provide technological support for various program areas. In addition, I assess the continuing educational needs of healthcare professionals and provide access to educational programs that help sustain professional licensure requirements. I also facilitate the RN Reentry Program to include the coordination of clinical training sites to assist nurses in reintegrating back into the workforce by refreshing their skills and knowledge. As a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor, I teach individuals how to recognize risk factors, identify warning signs, and use practical strategies to support individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.

Theresa Williams - Clinical Training Coordinator

I coordinate community-based clinical training for health professions students, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice.

I recruit training sites and preceptors by building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutions. My focus is on creating hands-on, meaningful learning experiences that prepare students to deliver quality care in diverse communities.

Jennifer Frazier - Operations & Student Support Coordinator

I support the Executive Director and oversee daily operations, with a focus on student housing and travel support. I provide comprehensive administrative assistance across all program areas and contribute to marketing initiatives through program promotion, graphic design, and communications that strengthen engagement and organizational productivity.

Courtney Brown - Health Careers & Special Projects Coordinator

I aim to deliver health career awareness programs through engaging presentations, academies, and career fairs that offer valuable insights into salaries, educational requirements, job descriptions, and resources related to health occupations. My objective is to inspire both youth and adult learners to pursue careers in healthcare through collaborative outreach initiatives with community partners.
