As Center Director, I am responsible for overall programmatic and administrative leadership. Specific functions include: program development and strategic planning, management of Center staff, fiscal oversight and administration, advocacy for the Center, development and maintenance of working relationships with organizations from health care, academic, and public sectors, and administrative officer/liaison for the Board of Directors. I graduated August 1984 Cum Laude from Columbus State University with a BBA in Management with an emphasis in human resources and communications. I earned my degree while working full time in the human resources field for a regional snack food manufacturer – where I developed my financial management and training skills. I was the business manager for a family-owned construction business – where my financial management skills were honed and small business and project management skills were developed. |
