About Us

Our mission is to improve access to quality health care in rural and medically underserved areas by recruiting, training and retaining health professionals. We have a "grow your own" Three Rivers AHEC Service Area approach to increasing the supply, distribution and education of health professionals in our 28 county service area. We work in conjunction with five other AHECs that comprise the Georgia Statewide AHEC Network.
